Supetar is the largest town on the island of Brač in Croatia and is picturesquely situated on the island's north coast, directly opposite Split. As the island's main ferry port, Supetar is not only a transport hub but also a popular tourist destination with an authentic Dalmatian flair.
Supetar boasts a beautiful, palm-lined waterfront promenade, cozy cafés, and restaurants right by the sea. The harbor is the lively heart of the town, where fishing boats, sailing yachts, and ferries converge.
There are numerous beaches around Supetar – mostly pebble or rocky bays with crystal-clear water. Banj Beach is particularly popular and is also suitable for families with children. Pine forests and promenades along the coast invite you to stroll.
During the summer months, concerts, festivals, and exhibitions take place, for example, as part of the 'Supetarsko Lito' cultural festival. The gastronomy offers Dalmatian specialties, fresh fish and local wines.
